General Conditions

Please sign up for courses you would like to take at least 4 weeks before your intended date of travel. If you are signing up in the summer season please sign up 6 weeks before departure.

To be fully enrolled in the program you need to be the required minimum age for the institution you wish to study in. If you are not sure you are old enough please contact us and we will advise you.

To be confirmed on a course you need to fill in the booking form, wait for us to send you a confirmation email and then usually send us a deposit of a per cent of the course fee per person. This varies from school to school.

When we receive the booking form you will receive a confirmation email, which will include a booking reference and which will tell you the price of the course as well as how much discount you have received from the school. When you receive the confirmation email if you wish to proceed with the booking in most cases you will be required to send us the deposit. This must have arrived in our account or in the post before we will finally confirm the booking. All payment instructions are included in the email.

The total price of the course must be paid to the school 90 days before departure for the course. If you sign up under 90 days before the start of a course you must pay the FULL amount when you receive your confirmation email.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your trip for any reason you must inform us by fax/letter or email. If you telephone to cancel you must follow this up with a letter/email or fax to arrive NO LATER than the cut off dates shown below, your cancellation will date for the receipt of the letter/fax or email:

More than 90 days before                     Full reimbursement (less $ 60 which will be                                                           retained for administrative expenses)

60 to 89 days before                            The deposit will be lost

30 to 59 days before                            50 % of the total course will be retained

Less than 30 days before departure       No reimbursement will be allowed

If you do not arrive at your course/ arrive late or cancel the course after you have already departed for the course we will not reimburse you.
1 Stop Language Ltd as well as the institutions involved reserve the right to expel participants from courses if they exhibit behaviour that is undesirable, disruptive, negative or if they consistently interrupt the study of others. There will be NO reimbursement in this case.

If you choose to pay by wire transfer or cheque you must pay the full amount of
the deposit within 7 days of final confirmation of your course details. ALL bank
expenses will be your responsibility. Please ask the bank to fax us confirmation 
of the wire transfer to fax number +33-382-594565. 

Travel Documents

These will be sent to you by the school 2 weeks before departure by the school.

VISAS

Initially we suggest you look at the Lonely Planet web site on www.lonelyplanet.com.

You can get information from the embassy in your country of origin also, obviously with
 so many countries and schools we cannot give more specific details here.

 

Insurance

Before departing you MUST have adequate holiday insurance for the TOTAL period that you will be traveling. You can arrange this through the Internet or by going to your local travel agent.
Extras

The flights or surface travel to and from the course must be entirely arranged yourself. If you arrive late at a course for ANY reason you will not be reimbursed. 1 Stop Language Ltd and the institutions will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the programs, accommodation, meals, excursions detailed in the brochure are as described. We reserve the right because of circumstances beyond our control to cancel part or the entire course at our absolute discretion. If this happens you will be reimbursed by the institution themselves.

1 Stop Language Ltd will not be held responsible for ANY losses, claims, damages, costs 
or expenses, death, injury, missed classes due to accident or any other cause, strike, mechanical failure, natural catastrophe, act of God, or any other circumstance that leads to missed classes or cancellation of the course.

We act as intermediaries for the schools and as such cannot be held responsible for the quality of courses, accommodation, meals, excursions, transport (by ground or air), transfers, or 
any other part of the entire trip. This is entirely at the charge of each individual institution or school and any complaints should be dealt with directly with them.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you agree to take up any complaint 
you may have directly with the language school themselves.
